I hereby declare that I grant my consent for the gratuitous use and dissemination of my image, recorded in the form of photographs and video footage captured during the BioMineralia: Past, Present and Beyond Conference organized by the Institute of Paleobiology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. This consent authorizes the publication of such photographs and recordings on the official websites of the Congress, as well as on its official social media profiles, for the purposes of providing information about and promoting the Event. This consent may be withdrawn at any time by submitting a written request to Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The provision of this consent is voluntary. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of any processing or actions undertaken prior to the withdrawal.
I hereby consent to the processing of my personal data by the Organizer of the BioMineralia: Past, Present and Beyond Congress for the purpose of registering my participation in the Event, including receiving Event related communications via e mail.

The Controller of the data is Wrocław University of Science and Technology, with its registered seat at Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 27 who determines the purposes and methods of personal data processing that you provide. The Controller can be contacted via a form and data placed on the website www.pwr.edu.pl/kontakt, or in writing to the address of the administrator’s office.
The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (IOD), whom you can contact with respect to matters of data protection using the following e-mail address: IOD@pwr.edu.pl or by writing a letter to the Controller’s registered office address. The IODs can be contacted in all matters concerning personal data processing and the use of rights related to data processing.
The legal basis for the processing of my personal data is my voluntary and revocable consent, expressed by completing the registration form for the Organizer (pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). In cases where financial settlements related to the Event are required, the legal basis may also include the necessity of preparing a contract and fulfilling the administrator’s legal obligations, as well as pursuing the administrator’s legitimate interests (including the pursuing of claims) (pursuant to Article 6(1)(b), (c), and (f) of the GDPR).
The administrator, as the organizer or coorganizer of an event, collects my personal data that I voluntarily provide in the form (as well as, for example, in cookies) and my image for the purpose of sending informational messages and presenting the offer of such events, as well as for promoting its own activities.
When other recipients of my data are involved in organizing the event, they may be separate administrators of my personal data.
The recipients of my data may include, in particular, hotels, sponsors, providers of organizational, publishing, and catering services, as well as providers of services and tools for remote communication and electronic correspondence (including entities transferring data outside the European Union and processing my data on behalf of the Administrator) based on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
“Cookies” (files transmitted during visits to a website) are processed by the administrator and service providers to personalize website content, and most web browsers recognize such processing and allow users to refuse or accept sharing these files.
My data will be processed for the duration of the event and the settlement of mutual obligations, as well as for the period required under accounting and archiving regulations.
I have the right to obtain information about my data processed by the administrator, to correct, rectify, delete, transfer my data, and to object to its processing.
My rights are not absolute and depend on the specific legal basis for processing my data in particular circumstances.

I have the right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory body dealing with personal data protection in a Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of an alleged violation occurrence. Providing my personal data is voluntary but necessary for registration and for ensuring my participation in the Event.
